Oswego Tea

Known by many names, including wild bergamot, monarda, bee balm, and commercially sold as Earl Grey or Oswego tea, this flowering perennial belongs to the mint family and is native to North America. It contains thymol, an antiseptic compound that can help fight infections. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that may soothe pain and swelling, it can help stimulate digestion, and relieve stomach cramps.
